This was our first time to a Frantic event and our first time to Camden Palace, so what better time to go than when Frantic are approaching their 400th event.
As we came close to Camden Palace the sun was blazing down on us, as it was, afterall only 1.30 on a Sunday afternoon (Hence we were accosted by some strange American tourists keen to get a photo with some ravers).
Camden Palace itself is an old theatre (similar to Brixton Academy), with the main dance floor at the bottom and a series of terraces creeping upwards to the second room at the top of the club.
There was plenty of space to sit down along the numerous balconies, rooms and recesses where you could sit and catch a breath. The drinks were pricey with a pint coming in at £4.20 and a bottle of water £2.20. Considering it was a Sunday afternoon that was a bit much!
The music was relentless in its ability to keep you on the dancefloor. The Tidy Boys did fail not to amaze with a blistering set that filled the dance floor and the balconies above with crazy ravers eager for more.
