Birmingham's Nec was the host to this years biggest Gatecrasher experience
(Gatecrasher at the NEC) as 15,000 clubbers crammed themselves into three arenas
to dance their tits off, to the likes of Tidy Boys, Underworld, Tiesto, Lisa Lashes
and many more world class DJ's.
The atmosphere was unbelievable as the tunes banged out at a constant peak.
Everyone was on a colossal high for the full nine hours. I even find myself rushing
between arenas, as I definitely did not want to miss any off the action.
The Gold Stars of the night have to go to Underworld who produced the best
hard house set, as the crowd went mental on the high of the amazing experience
of Underworld live.
A close second came DJ Tiesto who flooded the main arena with uplifting trance
tunes giving the other DJ's something to live up to. He also unusually took time
to talk to myself and fellow clubbers about the night. Gatecrasher attracted a
mixture of cyber-kids, raw clubbers, party goers and the generally insane, all
the ingredients to create an upfront crowd, and an unforgettable event , I cant
wait till the next one.
