The Pukka Up boat set off from San Antonio at around 7pm, it was fully loaded and from the start there was a real party spirit. On arrival we were all given a complimentary drink and we made our way through to the top deck where the party had already started. The sun shone down, funky house filtered through from the DJ at the front of the boat, we drunk, we danced and were merry. The boat took a trip out of the bay and settled anchor to watch the beautiful sun set that Ibiza and Cafe Del Mar have become famous for. The atmosphere on board was amazing and people were very chatty and friendly.
The ratio of women to men was around 5:1, certainly something to entice any suitable batchelors! The music was fantastic from start to finish, I’m really getting into my funky house and top tunes such as Perasma’s ‘Swing to Harmony’ and Signal Runners ‘3000 miles away’ blasted out to an eager crowd. Drinks were cheap at around 3 euros for a beer and 2 for a water.
After the boat party, we went for a few drinks in bars around San Antonio and then at around 1am set off to explore Es Paradis. For those of you who havent been yet this is a large pyramidal club situated next to Eden near the main San Antonio strip. It’s a nice club with a good atmosphere, no snobbyness and a place where you can let your hair down and just have a good night! The night continued with similar music to the boat which pleased the crowd. It was good to see people who we had spoke to earlier on the boat and this made the atmosphere even better.
Overall this was a amazing night, well worth checking out (every Friday throughout the summer). If you’re looking for a friendly (female) crowd, with great music and a good vibe then this is for you.
Thanks for Pukka Up for the entrance, boat trip and a great evening.
