The Gallery at Turnmills is one of London’s most successful nights. The up for it crowd and quality of DJ’s ensure week in week out this is one awesome party!
Mauro Picotto and Eddie Halliwell headlined the main room. I arrived shortly after midnight. In true Turnmills style the party was already in full swing.
I spent nearly the whole night in the main room. Techno is currently my favourite sound and to hear it in one of my favourite clubs was a real treat. The sexy, funky and dirty beats were just the prescription I needed.
I ventured into the second room for a bit. Lately this has been my favourite room music wise at The Gallery. Funky, Tribal House is also one of my favourite sounds at the moment. However, the lure of the Techno was simply too much this week!
The floor was rocking the whole night, no change there then! Just as the crowd were beginning to flag a little, Eddie came on. His combination of party Techno and Tech-Trance was just the antidote! With his technical skills and the quality of music at the minute this was a truly excellent set.
Gavyn Mitchell came on at the end with some more up-lifting Trance. I was beginning to feel rather tired by this time so left at about 6:30
So all in all another top night from the good people at Turnmills. It just seems hard to be able to choose which room you want to be in at any one time!
You can see photos from the night in the UKCD Photo Gallery.
